Berta sings and comments her batuque Kumbossa  (term used to designate the link between two women sharing the same male partner).

This is the story of how a man’s conquering inclinations end up in conflict between the concerned female partners and literally destroys filiation.

Faced with the multipartnership of her man, a woman turns her wrath against her new female rival. She mobilizes mystic forces in the conflict. The attacker’s violence turns against her own child who dies.

The story is told by the new kumbossa.
